Person centred therapeutic support

Welcome to Safe-Connection Liverpool Therapy where individuals are offered person centred therapeutic support to enable them to be wholly understood and supported to navigate life’s challenges.

Therapy can be provided for short or long term support. Safe-Connection Liverpool Therapy is a non judgemental, safe space to express experiences, thoughts and feelings that we will navigate together.

At some point in life, we will all experience emotional difficulty and life challenges, and these experiences can feel overwhelming leaving us feeling we are unable to cope, you do not have to struggle alone.

There is no subject, topic or experience that can’t be worked through together to gain greater understanding and empowerment.

Is counselling for me? How can counselling help me?

  • Do you feel lost in life?
  • Have you experienced a big life event and feel unsure how you will cope?
  • Have you experienced trauma that has left an imprint on how you now navigate life and impacted on how you connect with others?
  • Are you or have you experienced fear, anxiety or depression?
  • Does life feel like it has become smaller?
  • Are feelings of anxiety and depression holding you back from the life you want to live?
  • Have you or are you experiencing burn out?
  • Would you like to be supported to make meaningful changes in your life and increase resilience?
  • Would you like to explore and gain greater understanding of yourself?
  • Would you like to gain or build self-confidence back?
  • Would you like to find your purpose or identity?

Counselling can be a light in a dark tunnel to help navigate a way out of what can feel an overwhelming and impossible situation and it can support in gaining self-resilience that you can rely on to navigate challenges in the future.

You don’t have to struggle alone.

Life’s challenges and stresses can feel overwhelming at times, and sometimes it can be hard to see how we will cope now and in the future. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.

The value of therapy

Often when we are struggling with life events and challenges, it can feel difficult to talk to friends or family members openly and honestly for a wide range of reasons.

Working with a therapist offers individuals support from a completely objective perspective with whom it is safe to express and explore your innermost thoughts and feelings without any judgment.

Support from a therapist outside of our social circles can offer an objective reflective insight which often helps individuals to gain clarity of their situation and experiences.

A safe and supportive Space

At Safe-Connection Liverpool Therapy, together we can explore challenges and difficult feelings you may be experiencing, and you will be offered a compassionate, warm, and safe space to express yourself freely without judgment where you will be deeply listened to and wholly understood.

"Growth occurs when we confront problems, struggle to master them, and through that struggle develop new aspects of our skills, capacities and views about life"

– Carl Rogers

Moving forward with counselling

Counselling can facilitate the exploration of ourselves, our lives and experiences, and our responses in the past and the present.

Sometimes past coping mechanisms will no longer serve us in the here and now and we can feel at a loss as to how we can manage in the future.

Counselling can help us to cultivate new coping mechanisms and resilience, paving the way for a brighter future.
